“ We were delighted to hear that someone had re-opened a restaurant in this location. We enjoyed both the Owl House, and Pultneyville Grill previously. We were sad when both closed. One of our favorite quick trips out of town was to visit Embark Cidery for a cider tasting, and then have dinner on the waterfront, and a visit to the art shop afterwards. We went to the new restaurant and were quite delighted. I had the lobster Mac and cheese, and my husband the seafood angel hair pasta. The food was excellent (except for the onions in the Caesar salad, which I politely mentioned to our server), and reasonably priced, and the service was polite, professional and prompt, despite the place being full, as it should be on Friday evening. We will be back, and we will bring friends with us next time! ”
“ My husband and I were visiting the area from Pennsylvania for our first anniversary, and we came here for our special dinner. Yes, it is on the pricier side, but it really is worth it. We had a wonderful time. We made reservations and were seated immediately upon arrival. Our waitress (Sarah, I believe) was absolutely fantastic, and Tom made a wonderful sommelier, although he refused the title. Our wine and scotch selections were perfect. My husband had their catch of the day, and I had the maple-roasted duck, and neither of us could say enough good things about the food. Our courses were excellently timed so that we never felt rushed or impatient. The overall atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming (enhanced by great music from the Genesee Johnny Trio), rich and warm. Our desserts were fabulous, a chocolate bread pudding and creme brulee. Our whole experience here was thoroughly enjoyable and memorable, and we hope that our travels find us back here again! ”
“ Went there for dinner on Wednesday night for my Birthday with my husband and daughter. For starters got the shishito peppers- the brown sugar was carmelized just enough to make them addictive, especially with the dipping sauce. I got the lobster tail over a huge pile of mashed potatoes and fresh green beans w garlic, my husband got the HUGE bone in pork chop with roast potatoes, and fresh green beans, my daughter got the homemade gnocchi with vodka sauce. Everything was delicious, and we were able to stuff down 1 piece of the coconut cake, between the 3 off us, that they make in house. IT was Delectible! The only, not bad, but could've been better, is that the service was somewhat slow, considering there were only 6 tables. The server was Very nice and pleasant, but hard to get any servers attention to initially place order, or to cash out. Definitely going back! . ”
“ Chicken French was very good and the eggplant dinner excellent, but I LOVED the dipping sauce served with the bread.....not just olive oil, but added spices and I think she said some balsamic...... And try the house salad dressing. Good service and reasonable prices.. ... What more can you want ”
“ Finally made it during open hours. Saturday afternoon lunch, nothing special. Restaurant is on the second floor but they have a wheelchair lift if you can't do stairs. Seated by the window with a good view of the harbor and marina. The wife had the Cape Cod lobster roll, Connecticut is also available. I had fried shrimp basket. A very good value with a dozen shrimp and fries. Service was a little slow but not bad. A good choice for a quiet afternoon. ”
“ We love the Pultneyville Grill. The atmosphere is really comfortable and relaxing and attracts a nice crowd. The food is delicious and the menu changes often enough. I particularly thought the scallops and the pork loin were amazing. The bar is nice too and they have a huge selection of single malt scotches. The servers and the bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly. The last time we went they had a nice local jazz band playing and we really enjoyed that. There's an outdoor seating area where cigars are permitted, if memory serves. The prices are very reasonable as well. We live on the lake and there isn't really another restaurant nearby that provides what the grill does. ”
